1. Introduction and Acceptance of Privacy Policy

BridgePoint Technologies, Inc. (“BridgePoint”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) owns and operates the Digital Work Order mobile application (“Digital Work Order” or “App”). We are deeply committed to protecting the privacy and security of our users’ Personal Information (as defined below) and to handling all data with the utmost responsibility. This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) governs the collection, use, protection, and disclosure of information through Digital Work Order and related services, including any websites, online services, or correspondence associated with downloading, registering, activating, updating, or using the App (collectively, “Services”).

This Policy explains:

  • The types of information we collect from you (“User”, “you”, or “customer”) when you use Digital Work Order or interact with our Services.

  • How we collect, use, maintain, protect, and disclose that information.

  • Your rights and choices regarding your information.

By downloading, accessing, or using Digital Work Order or our Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, including the use of anonymized data for AI training as described in Section 3, please do not use the App or Services. We may update this Policy periodically by posting a revised version on our website or within the App, with the updated date noted above. Your continued use of the App or Services after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.

2. Information We Collect and How We Collect It

We take user privacy seriously and limit our data collection to only what is necessary to provide and improve Digital Work Order and its Services. We may collect the following types of information:

a. Personal Information

Personal Information is information that can be used to identify you, such as:

  • Name, email address, or phone number (e.g., provided during account registration).

  • User-created username or account credentials.

b. Non-Personal Information

Non-Personal Information does not directly identify you, such as:

  • Usage data (e.g., features used, time spent in the App).

  • Device information (e.g., device type, operating system, browser type).

  • Internet connection details (e.g., IP address, internet service provider).

  • Statistical or aggregated data about user behavior, such as search queries, usage patterns, or preferences.

c. Location Information

We may collect location information to enhance the functionality of Digital Work Order and provide location-based services, such as optimizing work order assignments or tracking service delivery locations. This includes:

  • Precise Location Data: If you grant permission, we may collect precise geolocation data (e.g., GPS coordinates) from your device when the App is in use. This data is used to provide features like mapping work order locations or routing optimization.

  • Approximate Location Data: We may collect approximate location data (e.g., derived from your IP address or network information) to improve service delivery and analytics.

  • How We Collect Location Data: Location information is collected only with your explicit consent, which you provide by enabling location services on your device. You may disable location access at any time through your device settings, but this may limit certain App functionalities.

  • Use of Location Data: Location data is used solely to provide and improve App features, such as assigning work orders to nearby personnel or analyzing service efficiency. We do not share precise location data with third parties except as described in Section 4.

d. User-Provided Content

Any content, data, or materials you voluntarily upload or provide through Digital Work Order (“Content”) remains your property. By providing Content, you grant BridgePoint a worldwide, irrevocable, perpetual, fully-paid, non-exclusive license to use, store, and process such Content solely as necessary to operate Digital Work Order, provide the Services, and comply with legal obligations.

e. How We Collect Information

We collect information:

  • Directly from you: When you provide it, such as during account registration, completion of dynamic forms, or customer support inquiries.

  • Automatically: Through technologies like cookies, web beacons, or analytics tools as you interact with Digital Work Order or our Services. Cookies are small data files stored on your device to enhance functionality and track usage. You may not disable cookies if you wish to use the App, as they are essential for its operation.

  • Location Data: Through device permissions for GPS or network-based location services, with your explicit consent.

Our Services are hosted in the United States. By using Digital Work Order, you consent to the transfer, storage, and processing of your information in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country of residence.

  • To comply with legal obligations or protect the rights, property, or safety of BridgePoint, our users, or others.

  • To enable location-based features, such as assigning work orders to nearby personnel or optimizing service routes, using location data as described in Section 2.c.

Use of Anonymized Data for AI Training

To improve our Services and develop advanced features, we use anonymized, aggregated, or de-identified data derived from your use of Digital Work Order, including anonymized location data, to train our artificial intelligence models. This data is stripped of any personally identifiable information and cannot be linked back to you. Such use is essential to enhancing the functionality, performance, and user experience of Digital Work Order and related services. By using Digital Work Order or our Services, you consent to the use of your anonymized data for AI training. If you do not consent to this practice, please do not use the App or Services.

We do not use your information for purposes unrelated to the operation of Digital Work Order or Services unless we have your explicit consent.

  • With Your Consent: We may share information, including location data, for purposes you explicitly authorize.

We do not share non-identifiable, aggregated data (e.g., usage statistics or anonymized location data) with any third parties for analytics or AI training purposes. We do not share your Personal Information with third parties for their marketing purposes at all. California residents may request information about disclosures to third parties for direct marketing under California Civil Code § 1798.83 by contacting us as outlined in Section 9.
